Posted Apr 21: Tuckerman and Huntington Ravines are under a late season General Avalanche Advisory.  You will need to do your own snow stability assessments when traveling in avalanche terrain. TODAY: SUMMITS OBSCURED. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SNOW SHOWERS. HIGHS IN THE MID 30S... EXCEPT IN THE MID 20S AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 5000 FEET. NORTHWEST WINDS 50 TO 60 MPH... EXCEPT NORTHWEST 75 TO 85 MPH AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 5000 FEET. CHANCE OF SNOW 20 PERCENT. WIND CHILL VALUES AS LOW AS 14 BELOW.
TONIGHT: SUMMITS OBSCURED IN THE EVENING... THEN BECOMING MOSTLY CLOUDY. LOWS IN THE LOWER 20S. NORTHWEST WINDS AROUND 55 MPH DECREASING TO AROUND 40 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT. AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 5000 FEET... NORTHWEST WINDS AROUND 75 MPH DECREASING TO AROUND 60 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT. WIND CHILL VALUES AS LOW AS 9 BELOW.
FRIDAY: PARTLY SUNNY IN THE MORNING... THEN BECOMING MOSTLY CLOUDY. HIGHS IN THE MID 40S... EXCEPT IN THE UPPER 30S AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 5000 FEET. NORTHWEST WINDS AROUND 30 MPH DECREASING TO AROUND 20 MPH IN THE AFTERNOON. AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 5000 FEET... NORTHWEST WINDS AROUND 50 MPH BECOMING WEST AND DECREASING TO AROUND 25 MPH IN THE AFTERNOON. WIND CHILL VALUES AS LOW AS 1 BELOW IN THE MORNING.
